Nice. That is so cool.
Nice. That is so cool.
I stopped by there when I was in New York in June. I'm assuming a load of Spurs fans go there, because they were completely out of Spurs hats (either that or they don't sell enough to warrat having them there : /)
When I bought my shirt and was waiting in line 3 out of the 5 people in line, including myself, had Spurs gear they were buying. Pretty damn creepy.
What is with the Nuggets blowup doll behind you?
I think that's supposed to be a real life sized Allen Iverson. They have also a Shaq and a Yao Ming IIRC. They also have a wall with molded hand prints from different players, including TD. Even Nash has huge hands compared to mere mortals like me.
You can definitely get Spurs hats there, and they always have at least 3 different styles. Some are by the entrance, while the rest are by the official Spurs jackets and pants section in the bottom floor. One thing I noticed also is that they have more Spurs stuff there than at the AT&T Center Fan Shop and the prices are cheaper too.
That's pretty cool. Its awesome to get pics with celebrities.
Nice, I should visit that store this December when I make my trip to N.Y.
yea magic is a class act. i remember the praise he uesd to send over at larry birds way even though they were rivals.
I laughed. Hard.
you should really get your face checked out
Magic will regret forever that he contracted HIV. Still, I know many, many people who did the same thing and they, like Magic, are not out there spreading it. Magic is a class act. He has become a billionaire because he has played his cards right. He has invested, bought, sold, and employs a lot of Americans while he's at it. He is the envy of many business people. He does more for our country that many people who talk but don't walk.
And he has time to take a picture with Spurs fans in New York City. I'd wait in line, too, to get a smile and a few words from him.
You should've asked him, "Hey, how's that AIDS thing working out for ya?" Personaly, I never believed he had HIV.I thought he used it as an excuse to walk away from the game when he did, and no one would question it. Plus, he knew it would bring him TONS of media attention. But at least, he did alot for AIDS funding. Not saying he's a bad person, but he is a glory hound.
Magic is easily one of the nicest and most positive people I've ever met. The first time I met him I was at the airport and saw the Lakers waiting for their plane. I went over to Magic, told him I was a huge fan, that I cheered for LA over Boston once the Spurs season was over, and that I saw him hit a half-court shot the last Sunday on CBS. I didn't have anything to get autographed, but I got a picture and Magic talked with me about basketball and school for maybe 15 minutes or so. This was probably around 87 or so, and I was around 8.
Later on when I went to UCLA, I saw and talked to him all the time at our basketball games, and he was still the same classy guy who always had a positive at ude towards his fans. I don't think I've ever heard from anyone who had a negative experience meeting Magic.
On top of being a god of basketball and an all-around great guy, he's a of a businessman too.to Magic.
Nice story. Wish I could have such a photo. Thanks.
how about you show some class..
