You need to get the ball rolling on this cholesterol reduction quest right away because if there isn't a significant change in 3 months you'll be headed the statin route. Statins are usually for life and can have some bad side effects. I don't think it's that unusual for your body to "suddenly" exhibit something like that because after all, we age every day, so our body changes every day.
