I wasn't going to dive into a thread like this, but this bit lost any respect I had for him at all.

I have seen some weasel-y political hacks, but for someone who has never been in the military to imply that a decorated marine combat veteran is a coward simply because he disagrees with him politically is beyond weasel, and into s territory.

I think I would ask a few of the Haditha Marines, whose reputations were assassinated by John Murtha. But, that's just me.

It's not that we disagree. It's that he sold his fellow Marines down the river without even giving them a fair hearing. Plus, that Youtube encouter with him the anti-war bunch shows him ducking an jiving to get away. A true Marine would have stood his ground and told him why he voted the way he did.

And, don't kid yourself, you've never had any respect for me.

And, in looking through the posts here, this hasn't exactly turned into the "trash Yonivore" thread the initiator was expecting, I think. Frankly, I'm touched.

Called out other Marines? He accused them of cold-blooded murder. That's not calling someone out.

We'll see how much of a man he is when the defamation suits reach the courthouse.
