yes... prior to being a spur. he was in fact better prior to coming to the nba.

I think he could be a legitimate shot-blocker and defensive stopper, a la Marcus Camby, in this league. He's definitely raw, but if he's available for cheap the Spurs should definitely look his way.

Of course, it won't happen.
