Well, I just put $100 on the Spurs to win it all at 21-1.
This team is starting to remind me of 2003, when things slowly came together until we really started gelling in January, hit full throttle in March. and rode it all the way to the trophy.
And besides, 21-1! WTF are they thinking. We are an 8-1 proposition.
Today should be an interesting test of how far the team has come.
Yeah I've never put money on sports before but 21-1 return doesn't seem that bad. I'd say we're a top-5 team right now...

NEW ORLEANS -- Late-breaking lineup news from New Orleans Arena. Hornets coach Byron Scott was in the midst of his pregame meeting with the media when a team staffer poked his head in with the news: Peja Stojakovic is suffering from back spasms and will not play tonight.
Certainly, this hurts the Hornets. In a game in which the two teams are so evenly matched -- last season's playoff series went to Game 7 -- both teams would like to take the floor with every available weapon.
New Orleans leads the NBA in 3-point percentage (41.2 percent), and Stojakovic is a big part of that. He shoots 43.1 percent from long range.
The Spurs, incidentally, rank second in the league in 3-point accuracy at 39.7 percent.
