There is an easy way to know this whole Eddie Murphy as the riddler story is as fake as .
When Eddie Murphy, Shia labeouf and Rachel wizz will be the Riddler, Robin and Catwoman respectivaly then you know this must be fake.
Niether of them fit that role. Nolan cant go 3 for 3. Its impossible to be that dumb.

I would hope that the use some of the extra footage of Ledger for the beginning of the film and show him being carted off to Arkham Asylum.
I doubt they use the Penguin. But, if they did want to use him....even in cameo...im not sure who they could use. If not for his accent, Joe Pesci would be perfect. He is short, comical, and can be completely homicidal. Maybe a Paul Giamatti might work.
If they do indeed do the riddler......Johnny Depp is a good choice, but someone else they could consider is Matthew Lillard. He is lanky like the Riddler and can be really out there.
As far as catwoman goes.....there are a lot of women who could play the role....Beckinsale, Jolie, Biel, Famke Jannsen, Kiera Knightly (though a bit skinny)
I don't want Robin anywhere near this movie.
Now, if they are going to ever do a Justice League Movie with Bale as Batman.......I wouldn't mind introducing Superman, Green Lantern, The Flash, or Wonder Woman in some form....be a comic book blown open by the wind...an action figure....or a shadow or something. Give us just a crumb to nibble on, but nothing that impacts the overall plot of the movie. I like how Marvel is hinting at the Avengers movie and I want DC to do the same with a Justice League movie.
