There isn't much joy that comes from watching the NFL these days, but that RW trade was a fleecing.

17 catches, 194 yds and 1 TD in 9 games for what looks like a top 20 pick.
Great so what bust will the lions take with that pick?

  2. #27
I think with a full off season, RW will pay off. He just has too much talent not to.

League is littered with guys with talent that never lived up to potential.

Guy just doesn't have what it takes to become an elite player, IMO.

Too early to say. Wait until the juniors declare and the GM is picked.

throwing to roy a few times a game would also be useful in addition.

garrett's offense has been when it counts.

    him too.
garrett hasn't adjusted to good defenses calling out his plays in over a year. ridiculously predictable, unacceptable. baltimore dodged a major bullet not hiring him.

I thought it was very considerate of Roy to slow down and let Ed Reed make that first interception before tackling him.

If the Cowboys have to end the season in humiliating fashion in order to make Wade Phillips go away, I'm happy with that so long as he takes Dave Campo with him.

Elite? , I would take him just being a good #2 guy.

What the Cowboys need is a #1 receiver that isn't a tight end. There are several #2 guys on the team already. The Cowboys wide receivers go up and get the ball as often as their corners successfully defend passes.

The Cowboys aren't eliminated from the playoffs anyway. If San Diego or Minnesota wins today they're in if they beat Philly. If both of those teams lose then it's all academic, because you'd be rooting for the Rams to beat Atlanta or the Raiders to beat Tampa.

He actually slowed down and watched him catch it. Even the "good" Roy Williams wouldn't have done that.

BTW, the Cowboys still control their own destiny. Thanks Norv!

Bring in a head coach like Cowher keep Wade as The DC sack the golden boy Garret and get a back up QB that can play.

I've never heard Cowher quoted as saying he requires total control. Its just opinion and nothing more. Many would have said the same thing about the Tuna and had the Tuna been a better coach the team would have performed better. Just like they did immeadiately after his departure.

Wade has officially lost the team. He's a very capable DC but doesn't have the leadership to run the entire ship. They had one good season and they fell apart from a compilation of bad play calling, lack of leadership and team chemistry.

I'm almost convinced that TO does more harm than good but I'll admit that I haven't always felt that way.

I don't know how this team would react to a Cowher/Wade combo but I'd think that a guy like Cowher would want his own people.

I don't see why he wouldn't be coaching a option.

Garrett needs more time. Being predictable and one deminsion isn't something that can't be changed. I don't or haven't felt like he's lost his guys yet.

, from the replay I saw it looked like he had enough time to run in front and make an attempt on the ball.
