Spurs make their luck. That's what champions do.
Dude, just consider this a Christmas gift from the Spurs and enjoy it.
Besides, its only December.
Spurs make their luck. That's what champions do.
I can understand that. I'm basing my post solely on todays performance(not taking away from their past accomplishments.)Not over the years
You could choose to look at it like that.
Or you could say that the team was playing ON THE ROAD against a QUALITY and RESTED team, and got key stops when they needed it, got basically any shot they wanted the entire game (wasn't falling for some stretches), and - most importantly - WON the game.
if the Spurs had actually made their FTs down the stretch they wouldn't have even been in the position to have to win with a buzzer beater.
Spurs were out-hustling the Suns for the whole second half. Suns were lucky to even be in a position to win---a few lucky breaks from the refs helped.
Why don't the Suns ever get lucky and beat the Spurs? When was the last time the Suns beat the Spurs in an important game? It's not luck that the Spurs have over the Suns, it's skill and total domination a superior team has over another. You can talk all the you want but you do realize your team won't ever win the important games when they count. They don't have the right skill - defense.
Spurs got a win and fans still complain. spoiled brats!
for someone who's a spokesman for the spurs, you're doing a terrible job. be happy for the win. sheesh.
Many wins are because of luck. Thats the nature of the beast. And you can say this as well. The Suns were unlucky.
Luck, skill, coaching or whatever...We won the game. You need to think about this young man...Don't you think that Phoenix would do anything to be the ones stunning the Spurs on national TV? Gimme a break...Luck is part of the chemistry of being Championship caliber..Can you say "Memorial Day Miracle?" Was it luck or skill? Who knows? Let others decide but for Spurs fans it was an exciting victory.![]()
I can respect your point. Being a spurs fan myself I was very pleased and jumped out of my seat when big rog hit that three. Everyone laughed because i called it before the time out. I said i bet rog is coming in and after he hit the shot I ran through the house annoying everyone. My point is I want another ring just like you and the spurs are doing damn well giving the cir stances but i dont think that wouldve worked against La or boston. Being that I think were still gonna be in the thick of things. But overall Im good with the W
If you can keep a score within 3 points and get a last shot attempt, that is not luck, whether you make it or not. We came back from an 11 point lead (not luck), we've played a killer schedule these last few days (not luck), the game was in PHX (not luck). These victories are the sweetest, enjoy them.
Right there with ya.only my youngest son called the play. My oldest son called it for Manu. I just didnt want it to go into overtime.
