I do not care who gets in as long there is quality basketball.

The All Star game doesn't have anything to do with basketball, it basically measures popularity. I don't know if it's an "honor". I even think players like Yao hate to be there.

1. The All-Star vote has ALWAYS been a popularity contest. It's been this way for the last 25 years I've been watching it.

2. That said, the NBA isn't going to decline Chinese votes when in fact that's their quickest growing market. Of course they're going to do what they can to nurture that market.

Add 1 and 2. Is it that hard of a concept dumb-asses? When the has it EVER been about who is most deserving.
