People who say things like this are clearly only looking at boxscores and the W-L column. In the Philip Rivers era, the Chargers and Colts have played three times: the two games last year and the one game this year. The final scores have been 23-21 Chargers, 28-24 Chargers, and 23-20 Colts. No team has a decided edge over the other one, and they've both won road games. I'm not giving the Chargers' two wins an asterisk or anything, they were the better team on those days and deserved to win, but those games were very close with the Colts having chances to win it both times. And in the game this year, the Colts had the ball with a chance to win it at the end and they did.
Chargers fans seem to think their team dominates the Colts the way the Belichick/Brady Patriots did, and that's ing wrong. Just a fun fact, in the Chargers two wins last season, Dwight Freeney left the game played at SD with an injury and did not play during the playoff game. I'm just saying, I like the Colts chances a lot better with corps of healthy pass rushers. If you can't rush the passer then you can't beat San Diego.
