You still didn't count Miles cap money, which is the point of this discussion and thread. $7M isn't much "cap room" when every team gets an MCE close to $6M every other year. The NBAPA is also pissed at Portland about the whole Miles thing, and players are now seeing that they will be pushed under the bus if it suits Portland's current needs. As for cap relief trades, do you really think any team is going to do anything to help them out after that bull threat memo?

They will eventually, if/when Portland decides to give up a little too much just so other teams will answer the phone.

It's $9M and could be $16M because Outlaw and Blake contracts' aren't guaranteed.
