He hated that name and prefered "The Big Dipper". He even named his home in Bel Air "Ursa Major". Life magazine had a great photoshoot of it in 1972, I have that magazine stored away. One of his dogs was named "Careem".

Walt "Clyde" Frazier, one of the all time greats. He got the nckname Clyde from all of the pimp outfits he used to wear, he certainly had a wide and expensive wardrobe, here's one:



Clyde might have come from Bonnie and Clyde, played by Warren Beatty about this time.

Broadcasting career
Frazier currently works as a commentator alongside Mike Breen for MSG Network telecasts of Knicks games. He also worked with Breen previously on the radio broadcasts before his switch to television in 1997, and also worked on Knicks games with Marv Albert. He is known for catch phrases including:
