Spurs had him for a whole season, and then summer camp, and decided they didn't want him. Getting jacked over a d-league stud makes as much sense as getting jacked over an NCAA upperclassman. In most cases, if they were any good, they'd be in the NBA. I think the Spurs don't want to waste time on a player they think isn't a fit. Lack of a long distance shot is a deal-breaker for a Spurs wing. They ALL have to be able to space the floor for Tim.
