Hamilton founded the Federalist party.
I assume you mean federalism in terms of sharing power between the central government and the states?
A huge expansion of military policy abroad and the list goes on.
Why do ditto heads hate america? Why do they want the US to fail? Why? WHY? WHY!!
To me a ditto head is a dumbass. Not because of Rush but the fact that they are basically admitting they do not think for themselves. Using the term ditto essentially says whatever he says they agree with and that is just sad.
"huge expansion of military policy abroad"
specifics?
Invading Grenada?
Invading Panama?
cut-and-run from Lebanon?
"tear that wall down"![]()

.and you are a lemming that can't think for yourself.
Your ignorance is showing; Jargon of the Rush Limbaugh Show:
Dittoheads
Faithful listeners to The Rush Limbaugh Show. As Limbaugh often explains in his books and radio show, these are not necessarily those who agree with his views. Rather, he believes they are people who love the show and what he's doing, and hope he never stops doing it. The term came into use because callers would frequently begin by giving praise and thanks to Limbaugh. Knowing that the caller’s and listener’s time is valuable, one caller simply said roughly "ditto to what those guys said (how much they enjoyed the show)." Thereafter, callers were encouraged to simply say, “Dittos,” and then get right to their point. Thus, long-time listeners would begin their calls with “Dittos, Rush,” leading to the term “dittoheads.” The term is also used pejoratively by critics of Limbaugh, who claim that his listeners simply copy his political views without any independent thought.

Your asshole is really ugly. Will you please stop being an ass?
My position on the Fed doesnt fall in line with Dr.Paul, but the ultimate abolition of the Fed would be a common goal he and I share. Ends justify the means kind of thing.
The reasoning, for me, comes from our Cons ution and the powers that were vested in Congress for 130+ years until they found it politically expedient to relinquish that responsibility to a 3rd party.
Granted, I understand the Feds place and value to our economy, but there is nothing that states this organization needs to exist outside government. In fact, it states that it is directly within the government's purview to control and regulate our money.
But to me, in a simplistic view, borrowing our own money at interest from a 3rd party and then being responsible to absorb said debt into our national economy would seem to be a mish-mashed way of going about obtaining our currency and its value.
I dont pretend to know enough about going back to the gold standard to even consider the prospect. What I do know is that the Fed is not a federal ins ution, yet it has ultimate power granted to it by a lazy government much too concerned with re-election to have an albatross like "currency exchange" hanging around their collective necks.
So, to sum it up, it isnt so much the way the Fed works that irks me, it is the establishment and principle behind it that rouses my su ions of a government so incredibly willing to leave arguably the most important aspect of our government to a non-government ins ution. Especially when you have this sort of history behind it....
In its application, yes.My thinking is that the federal reserve (although, Greenspan more or less created this global economic meltdown in so many ways) is a necessary check against a 1929 level economic meltdown, do you disagree with that?
Kiss my ass, I read the travest that is Ditto, Rush and what the does you or he think the callers mean mean when they say 'Ditto, Rush.' What a ty spin job to make morons feel they aren't being led by the nose.
You quote Shasta, but I think your real target is WC. Similarly, Shasta began by quoting you, but ended up calling WC a mindless drone.
Seems like there's a crossed wire here, but I could be wrong. Rereading the thread it appears to me that you two are on the same page concerning Rush.
