    Mavs fans are bitter since we took their position in the West and Lakers fan have become extremely arrogant after a trade occurred due to collusion between two former Lakers. That's fine. The season is just getting started.

    Not so much bitterness as it is the Hornets are a team stocked with classless bags and es liek Paul, West, Chandler, and Posey. Was even worse last year with Bonzi and the frickin Birdman.

    We're not that far off from the 2nd seed. It's been a disappointing start losing to teams like the Knicks, Kings, and Bobcats early in the season, but we've won at Denver (after the Billups trade), at LA (when they were lights out from the 3), and Cleveland this season. We can beat any team on any given night, and with West and Chandler out, our backups are starting to get more confident. Antonio Daniels has stabilized our bench while Posey gives us a defensive presence late in games.

    Look's who talking. You have guys like Howard, Kidd, and Dampier who are pieces of crap as human beings. Not so much Dampier, but your owner is s of the earth, and Dirk is Dirk. Everyone wanted us to kick your team's ass and we did. Plus, we've won at Dallas again this season. It's not my fault. Get over it.

    Yeah, Dirk is all class on and off the court. Howard sucks, I hate his ass too.

    This wasn't about the Mavs anyway, it's about the Hornets being overrated soft classless bags .

    Paul is a great player, but I'm not a big fan of PGs in his mold. Too ball dominant, hard to build around him.

    Anyway, the Hornets aren't contenders, IMO. They lack a defensive stopper (Posey isn't exactly that, he's an awesome player for other reasons), a backup big, a rejuvenated Peja and someone to keep the offence going when Paul is out. It's incredible how bad they're putting points on the board when Paul is on the bench. Pargo and Wells are terrible players, but they were helpful in this regard.
