    I enquired about this to a nerd mate. I have a HD Blu Ray Laptop connected to my Plasma via HDMI and he seems to think I need to buy a HDTV Card for the laptop and that recording will take up loads of space and not be that awesome quality.

    Don't quote me on this but i read some-where Ten are going to have a dedicated SD channel in ONE once it starts. All you need is a DVD recorder with a digital tuner.

    dude you set ur plasma/lcd to digital and press 1 its lready ch10 HD....its prefix already

    Yah thats the dedicated HD channel plus they going to have a dedicated SD channel that shows the same. So people that can't get HD don't miss out on a 24hour sports channel. Not sure what number it's going to be though.

    It doesn't matter too much for me because i can see both but my DVD recorder only does SD. Since most of the start times im at work... that SD channel is going to be usefull.

    I'm loving NBAILP, and the fact that you can watch games in replay for 24 hours is very cool too. Now I've got to work out a way to... ... can't say that.

    We really have to get togehter for at least one playoff game this year if at all possible. One GTG in Melb and one in Perth should get it done.

    i watch the cavs v pistons game, turn it off cause it got boring....was too buzy with sbs

    lets hope fakers v celtics the game is compe ive.

    It's great having the NBA back on free to air. Seeing it in HD how-ever just makes it that much better. The cavs v pistons game looked and sounded awesome. Thank you channel ten. People investing in a HD TV wont be disappointed.

    Yeah, no kidding. That HD stuff is fantastic to watch. Have you also noticed that the HD broadcasts from US sports (NFL, NBA) are of a much higher quality to that of our own Aussie broadcasts? Maybe it's just me.

    Well they aren't even airing it in Perth...Here I am waiting around to watch it and ing Dr Phil comes on... My electronic TV guide says it should be on, my paper TV guide says its on and my Internet guide says its on. Anyone else in Perth having probs?

    hd receiver setup box...can be bought for around $50+ there dirt cheap man

    or if you want wait till u receive the stimulus check ....which around 1k go buy urself something....
