I think Mason has a pretty damn good chance to win the 3 pt shootout. I think they can sweep all 3 events, the 3 pt shootout, the skills challenge, and the shooting stars challenge
Nice honor for Roger...it's a shame Matt wasn't invited, as well. I hope this doesn't throw Roger's stroke off for the RRT.

I don't remember a Spur even being in the contest before off the top of my head.
I have to think about it but I'm pretty sure Dale Ellis represented Silver & Black once in the 3-point contest.
I found it.

Mike Monroe missed Edgar Helicopter Jones who dunked in the 1984 contest.Porter, Dale Ellis (1994) and Chuck Person (1995) are the only Spurs ever invited to the 3-point contest. Johnny Dawkins (1987) and Cadillac Anderson (1988) are the only Spurs who ever got to dunk for dollars.
Steve Smith represented the Spurs in the 3PT Shootout as well. 2001-2002 if I recall correctly.
cool get to see d.rob again in a spur jersey
Mase Jr. Better ing win, he's got the skills... Has ANY Spurs player EVER won the 3pt comp?
Nicely done. I forgot about both Ellis and Person. Seem to remember that both fizzled in the second round. I knew Porter went as a Blazer, but I absolutely don't remember him as a Spur. I guess I'm getting senile.

Props to RMJ. Bonner might have been decent, hard to tell. Hopefully he has a few more good shooting seasons so he can eventually get in.
I'm hoping it throws his stroke back into place. He has been shooting human recently.
Nice Representation by the Spurs. I hope they win all the events.
Will Hill be playing in Sophmore/Rookie game ?
about time Parker got back in the skills compe ion. He owned the first one in all the practices, I always wanted to see him get a second chance at it.
Another thread non-reader.
is tony gonna be in the Shooting Stars compe ion?
it's always guards who represent their team (Duncan was the only allstar for the spurs last year so he had to be there).
Beno could dominate in the “Calvin Klein – What are your skills?” compe ion.
