Sorry about your kittycat duncan228, it really is like losing a family member.
I lost my family dog last year...Had to put him to sleep...he was 18 in people years. I was 28 when I lost him, and 10 when I got him. He lived a long life, and was in a lot of pain...didn't make it easier..I'm sorry.

What the ? Why do that?
Sorry to hear about your loss. I have had to do this once with my cat and still to this day I get a lump in my throat from time to time thinging of him. He touched so many parts of my life you know. I have 2 cats now and I don't want to think about the day when I'll have to do it again. However it's part of life and as long as we remember them they will never be truely gone.
You know I guess I could be really angry with this un-sensitive prick however it just reminds me that there are still more good people out there then people like this.
I hope you have a good life sir because Karma never fails to come back to you.

Sorry about your kitty. I know he had a great life and was much loved.
Damn , still bitter about the rusty pipe treatment the KFC Crew used to run train on your Mexican fat ass?
Wow, seriously? What the did that accomplish? I'm not a cat fan either (alergic), but you have to be a grade A asshole to make fun of someone's dead cat when you don't know that person and it's a person who's never been mean to anyone on this site.
Anyways, sorry about your loss D228. I got my first pet 5-6 years ago, she still has plenty of time left, but Idk how bad it's gonna be when she dies.
I'm so sorry, D228. It sucks when you lose a pet who has been with you and love for so long, let alone two in the span of less than a year. My sweet kitty died on Monday, from old age, and even though we knew it was coming, it was a blow.
Thanks for the kind thoughts everyone. My cats are part of my family and the loss hurts. There are much greater losses in life, but that doesn't mean we don't grieve for the smaller ones. It will ease, but it's raw at the moment. He was quite the character and I'll miss him.
I am taken by the parent cats reaction. They're looking for him, the mother is walking around meowing softly. I don't know if I would have believed it had I not seen it with Q.J. They mourn too.
R.i.p
My parents and I just lost one of our cats to a stomach tumor so I know how you feel with letting them relax. It's really hard to see the others looking for him after he's gone too, like they think he just left and will come back.
RIP Wrong Way
Sorry about your cat, friend.
I know how I'd feel if I lost my cat.![]()
Duncan, I'm so sorry for your loss. I know exactly what you are going through. I lost my cat this past Tuesday.
RIP Kitty
Sorry about your cat D228. Animals are so important, the lessons they teach us are huge. My leopard gecko, Lindy, died Friday and it was amazing seeing the 2 dogs and 2 cats approach her terrarium one at a time and "pay their respects".
Dead lizard? GMAFB!
??? Lizards don't die?
This place is getting WAAAAY TOO EMO for me!
I am very sorry for your loss, D228. I said a prayer for you.![]()
Oh just calm down. I'm not emo about the lizard, I was just adding to D228's comments about animals' senses.
