When the center of this country realizes that due to the democrat's dumbassery the economy is getting a lot worse a lot faster than it ever did under Bush (despite all his F ups), they're going to get sent packing no matter what moron the GOP decides to run.
Then its the GOP's turn to screw us over again.

Cranking up the fear can backfire.
Obama created an expectation that something would happen quickly, that it needed to happen quickly. If it doesn't, then the delay can be taken as failure in the task, and it reinforces the motif of imminent catastrophe. Tick-tock, tick-tock.
If you take the imminence of the debacle seriously at all, on time performance counts more than ever. Obama better get it done by the "Presidents' recess."
