is your combination of calling the thread "realistic trades" and proposing Bonner for Lee some kind of sarcasm I don't get?
and what a nonsense that D'Antoni doesn't like how Lee plays?
even if he did (what he doesn't), why should they trade a 16+12 player, who half the league would love to get, for a limited 8+5 player with no upside. because they need a "shooting big man"?. ever heard the names Harrington and Thomas. coincidently both happen to be on the Knicks roster.
please change this "realistic" to "clueless trade proposals"

"The Los Angeles Lakers have acquired forward Pau Gasol...(and a) second round draft choice in 2010. In exchange Memphis will receive forward Kwame Brown, guard Javaris Crittenton, guard Aaron McKie (who the Lakers signed earlier today), the draft rights to Marc Gasol and first round picks in 2008 and 2010."

    http://www.nba.com/lakers/news/080201gasol_trade.html

It is hillarious how some of you "bloggers" feel that you're more enlightened than others. We are all throwing out ideas. I think instead of trying to put down someone's post, you could do what I believe the author wanted and add on to his initial idea of a base trade involving Lee for Big Red.

Excuse me if I'm not on here 24/7 posting. I have a life, idiot. If you don't like it, off. I'll post any god damn time I want.

As far as it being stupid? Let's look at some Spurs previous trades: Dwayne Schinztius for Antoine Carr? How about Sean Elliott for Bill Curley?

And I'm sure the Gasol for Kwame Brown made perfect sense. Illogical trades happen all the time, moron.
I rather read a post from a human who knows he'll never have a career in coaching, than a Schwabb wannabe thinking he is Jim Van Smack Rome. What a bunch of tools these guys are because they post things like
    ...I agree...or to get a 4 digit post amt.
You bunch of cheetos stained finger bloggers living in your mom's basement, watching porn through the squiggly lines of your dead grandma's broke tv while posting on here. Get a life, and a woman!

But it's soooo true. By tomorrow morning there will probably be another already. Bonner+Vaughn+Udoka for _____

It's just the circle of life.
So what?...That is what these type of forums are for. When I read a topic I am not interested in, I don't post. In fact I probably won't even read it. But I don't go on to bash it. That's just re ed (like having to wear suits at work).

Are you that stupid?? My point is they took on a huge salary for a guy that never plays. It happens. And by the way, the reason I said 'Realistic' is because the contracts would match. It makes more sense than the others who think we actually trade for Marcus Camby. And my point on starting this thread was to get input on others who might have other trade possibilities. But only the arrogant assholes wanna on people who try to start topics of conversation. Go back to tuggin it, jerkoffs.
If the Knicks do your trade, would they take a pack of microwave popcorn for Al Harrington. Maybe we can get Kobe for Tiago Splitter. After all Kobe will die one day and the Lakers will lose him.

Nor does it en led you to any kind of reward. I've been on some boards where I've been on for years, and other posters have more posts than me in a matter of months.

It's all about quality, not quan y.

Yes,That was a very realistic trade.I don't think the Knicks are going to trade Lee for Bonner but it's not a most stupid trade than Gasol's one.

I thought the Knicks were over the hard cap and cannot have a player traded to their team who gets more salary than the one they give out. Sorry to spoil your idea.
It should fall under the 125%+100k rule. If they were under the cap, they could take back up to the salary cap or 125%+100k I believe.

Still, who trades a big for a big with half the production (well, less than)? Throw in a draft pick or two and maybe some rights to the overseas players and you might have something, but no way you see Lee/Bonner straight up.

Is there some kind of "minimum experience" clause on this board that I missed? Oh, wait a minute...... there's a correlation between # of posts and one's ability to start a coherent thread right?

Having said that, arodz your thread is, unfortunately, nonsensical and not well thought out. Makes me ashamed to have less than 1000 posts........

Where as I see a Bonner/Lee trade to be ill-researched in context of this thread, the Knicks are trying to shop him out, right? He said some sh*t recently about the organization (as any sane person on the Knicks in the last decade (save Stephon for being sane, not ing) would do), and the comments were at least media worthy of speculation. So... Unless they're clearing cap (which isn't really the heart of the Knicks franchise, obviously) David Lee is not coming here (And for the record I hope I'm wrong). If Phoenix shops out Amare, and the Knicks aren't just looking for 2010 space, maybe they could make a run for Lee + filler. Of course both of those team's problems run far deeper than that.

Oh, and I had a really hard time writing my post considering that I only age in Spurs Talk years and my only education has come through this site. I have to type one letter at a time with my little baby fingers. To think that someone new to the board (and under 1000 posts (scoff)) never has anything valid to post seems a bit presumptuous. All the trolls with over 1000 posts...thread start AWAY!!! You've been given free reign and will never be called out for idiocy. Why? 'Cause you got 1000 posts under yer belt, !
