I just want Tim to stay healthy. After that, have fun. I think the other 'stars' on the teams appreciate his talent, so it really is just about the fans. This fan wants him healthy and having fun.

It would be great if TD just chugged his way to a perfect game and pulled it out from under the usual names, but...

This year is all about Kobe and LeBron. One goes to NY and does something amazing, the other follows and tries to one-up him. The media makes this year's MVP a two horse race and I don't disagree. I think this year's all-star game wil be all about them, after all they are across from each other and have the ball in their hand most of the time or whenever they want it.

An All Star MVP would be nice, but it's not like Timmy has anything to prove.

why does everyone fear an injury during that no defense game?
Is a ASG more "dangerous" than a regular NBA game ?? I don't think so.
Too lazy to check this but i don't remember any serious injury during an ASG.
So chill out. TD and TP will be fine.

there is no chance in Duncan will be MVP. He will have solid numbers and if West decides to try to win the game, Duncan will get tons of minutes. But MVP? no way

I wouldn't mind seeing Timmy get it but he's not going to. It's easy to see that he doesn't care much about getting mvp in the all star game.. he just goes out there and has a good time.
Exactly. You can tell by the way he plays in the ASG he doesn't really care who wins or how many minutes/points he gets. And that's just fine with me. I hope he has fun; that's it.

What is scaring me a lil bit is that Jackson is the coach and he may actually overplay Timmy on purpose...

exactly, it also explains why Mike Brown selected 3 magic players to all-star game, on the same purpose of hurting them. bur J Nelson has broken his de able trick, and his shoulder as well.

Four points, three boards, two assists, one block, no injuries is all I ask of Tim.

Tim's game and personality aren't suited to win All-Star MVPs, just Finals MVPs!

Mike Brown doesn't pick the reserves himself. He has a vote along with all of the other head coaches in the conference.
