ok, that was clearly my case, at least part way. now I enable pop-ups from woe-is-I, get the little video window, and then get need "requires Active-x supported by IE5 or NS7.1" but then the just times out.

Active-X is EXACTLY the nasty, rip-your-machine-up, rapeable beast that nobdody should be running on Internet.

So I run IE watch the vids, close IE.

I use mozilla and it's not just about security, even though as an IT consultant, I would recommend that you change browsers just because of it.

Files deleted from hard disks, slow computers, hijacked computers acting as internet servers for porn & pirated movies... IE is a gateway for most computer problems nowadays.

Mozilla is better than IE all around the board.

Actually this is the base of many of the best comedians out there, make fun of other people but then destroy your own self in public!
