No way is that play from MJ #2 imo. It was in the first round of the playoffs. If that happened in the second round or the ECF, I'd definitely put it up there.

Going by the the le of the thread, "the most exciting moment" i'd say that his shot against cleveland is as exciting as it can get. It may not have been as meaningful as other shots, including his own against the Jazz, but it certainly can be considered the most exciting MOMENT in NBA playoff history.

Probably the most improbable comeback ever. 13 points in 33 seconds. Four 3's, including a 4 point play, against the eventual champions and one of the greatest defensive squads ever, with Bruce Bowen all over you.

Magic's shot was the perfect setting, time and place for the most exciting shot. The two most storied franchises in basketball. Two of the greatest players in the history of the game in Bird and Magic going head to head. Probably the best role players and supporting cast on both teams compared to any other teams in history. And pure hatred of of both teams and cities.

I remember when Bird his his shot in the corner to go up, and all I thought about was Magic. Bird must have thought the same thing because you could see him telling Dennis to stay with Magic. When that shot went through my entire neighborhood was out on the streets cheering.

The 80's was a decade of pure joy for Celtics and Lakers fans. Fishers .4 was also great too. What made thses shots so great was they were preceded by other great game winning shots, Duncan and Birds.

That shot also broke the stranglehold the Celtics had over the Lakers.

Hands down, nothing comes close to that play in terms of context, history, rivalry, franchises involved. Hands down.

Some of the other crap was best play of the decade but NBA history? Lol...short history indeed.

Simple math would lead us to conclude that if T-Mac had 94 seconds, he would have scored close to 39 points in the amount of time it took Isaiah to score 16. Also, T-Mac's team was down more, and he won the game, as opposed to sending it to overtime.

Jokes aside, they were both amazing. I still think T-Mac's comeback was more improbable, while Zeke's was obviously more meaningful.
