Yes, as far as I know, they can.
Yeah, but I don't see Malik accepting the ring, he has too much pride. I'll see Malone accept that ring long before Malik ever does.

Good in New York Malik! There will always be a spot on the spurs for you, maybe you can come back once your contract expires?

I will egg Pop's and Peter Holt's house for you!

My favorite Malik moment was when he hugged the ball at the beginning of game 4 vs Seattle in the 2002 playoffs as a tribute to Tim when his father died. You just can't replace relationships like that right away... but that dunk on Mutombo, the 25 points in game 2 in the 2003 WCF, the game in Philly in 99, the way he guarded Shaq in the 99 playoffs, his huge performances against Phoenix in the first round of 2003, his games vs LA and Seattle in the 2002 playoffs, etc. won't ever be forgotten. Best of luck in NY, bro.

I miss Malik. Although I understand the "business" reasons for trading him, I still hate it was done in the middle of the season when he deserved to go all the way to the end. It's also starting to bother me that the Spurs traded a healthy player for an unhealthy one just before heading into the playoffs. Malik would have come in handy in Phoenix.

Good luck, Malik...you were more than just a player, you were a San Antonian.

Wo, that was a great article. It's good to know that Malik will be coming home this summer.

foofida, I do not think I ever have read anything you have ever posted....you need to get rid of the Britney clip....I am mesmerized by it every time.
