ok..I stand corrected..
Yeah brah, Lakers can't win anything. I mean, beating the Spurs last season proves NOTHING. Spur fans act like nothing is wrong with their team. Every team in the NBA has kinks to work out.
ok..I stand corrected..
Come on now man..I'm disappointed in you. You're in the Spurs forum all the time...we're always saying problems our team has. We don't think there's nothing wrong with our team. We know we have issues. Manu's hurt, Timmy's not 100%...we kind of have a big man issue, but we're hoping Drew can help with that. We know we're not perfect...but we have confidence, just like you. You shouldn't come in here and say like that...you know it's b.s.
most insecure poster on the board^
That BenJarvus acts like it's a done deal the Spurs are in the Finals. Nothing in this world is guaranteed.
Spurs get stomped in 5 games last season without Bynum and they think they're going to beat a much better Lakers team - WITH BYNUM this year?![]()

Um...what? Like you have ANYTHING to say about bad posts. Come on dude..seriously..get over yourself, d-bag.
Well...BenJarvus does not represent us all. You see...it's like that 21 Blessings bag who thinks the Lakers are Gods...compare him to you and it's two totally different outlooks. You at least have respect for other teams, like the Spurs. IMO, The Lakers are scary as . I think the Spurs CAN beat LA, but they have to play perfect ball to do it. We'll see if they can. But just like I'd never put you in the same category as 21 Blessings, don't put all Spurs fans in the same category as him...
Um...you seem to forget..the Spurs are a lot better team as well. The Lakers aren't the only team who have a new player. George Hill, fast rookie PG..Roger Mason, who already showed he's not afraid to take the big shot against LA...Drew Gooden (who I really shouldn't even put in here, because we don't know what he'll do yet..he's just a new player on the team, though he does average 13 and 8)...Udoka is slowly starting to come into his own..he was nowhere last year...Matt Bonner is a totally different player this year. How many centers do you see as the number two 3 point shooter in the league? Don't get it twisted..the Spurs have gotten better also...a LOT better.
That's very good to hear..that injury looked pretty bad. Glad to see he's getting healthy.
Yeah brah, all of you show us respect and don't group us. That's like every time a Laker fan posts something, you get a Spurs fan response to be "backdoor sweep"
Not every Spurs fan. I have respect for guys like you, Dr. House, and Laker fans who know other things besides "we're the greatest" "check the rings" and things like that. there are some bad Laker fans..you have to admit it..just like I admit there are some bad Spurs fans...There is more parity in this league lately than there has been all year. The Spurs vs. Lakers series, which I think and hope will happen in the WCF will be great...and I think it will decide who wins the Finals, as I think both of our teams are better than Cleveland and Boston.
not gods...demi-gods![]()
Well the Lakers can never seem to win in Portland..so I'm hoping that they are able to win..but if not oh well.
That should be about when Oden get back too if the worst case scenario of the original diagnosis is correct.
While I'm not a Blazers fan of any magnitude, I hate to see chronic injuries. Portland has had problems with big men having them in the past..from Walton to Bowie..now Oden. I hope he gets better...although my boy..former TEXAS LONGHORN Lamarcus Aldridge is doing well for you.
sons im off to try and find a scalper for the game.. if things go well tonight i will be sitting nose bleed with a beer in my hand in a old j.r. rider jersey.. i will try and hold back any urge to throw a cake at sasha vuja from the 300 level..
lakers D isnt nearly as bad as those suns'. and rape show? seriously?
Awesome.
the last time they won is when kobe hit 2 miracle clutch 3s to tie it at regulation and to win it in overtime while being down 2 with like 2 seconds left, it was back in 2003-2004.
Ideally for today:
Lakers beat Portland
Atlanta beats NOH
and Denver beats Houston...
Lakers won't lose to the Blazers today because the Blazers are now a "good team". In the past, the Lakers lost because the Blazers sucked.
And we all know how poorly the Lakers play against sucky teams (Kings, Bobcats, Grizzlies, etc).
The Lakers aren't Gods, but they are obviously better than the Spurs on every single level with or without Bynum. If you're too deluded to accept that reality, then that's your problem.
Can the Spurs beat the Lakers? Sure. But it's going to take more than 'perfect ball'. Spurs will need plenty of luck/and or multiple injuries to Kobe/Gasol.
