As far as I know he has never admitted anything like that to the media. But this is the first time where really he is being looked to as a leader for the Spurs (with manu out and Tim hurt).

Parker might be looking to make up for it with his play on the court. We'll see how he comes out against Houston
To me that is trait of a great player. Totally forget the whole Boston fiasco and come out and play great like nothing ever happened.
