Hornets could so easily have 35 losses right now ugh. Then again the Mavs have had great luck in close games as well. Still, Hornets are lucky, not good.

Dont you just love how D-Wade was ing at the refs saying he got pushed....that lil' has been watching to much TD
He tried to about Jason Kidd "fouling" him the other night too. ROFL at him ever complaining about not getting a call. He gets so many bull calls he has no right to ever whine to the refs about anything.

this is why losses @Mem, @Sac, @OKC, @ TD/Manu less Spurs...the list goes on and on just piss me off about this Mavs team. We wouldnt have to rely on other teams to lose if we just took care of business

I dont know who wines more, TD, Kobe or Wade, they both get a majority of the calls and think everytime they up that it had to have been bc they were fouled

LOL son .... Wade has the nerve to at the refs who gave him 8 BS freebie points tonight by putting him at the line 9 times. Its not their fault that he couldn't hit that free throw in the clutch to win the game or that he couldn't dribble the basketball.

Not really. We've won some decent road games this season. At Den, Port, LAL, and Dallas. Gotta give us some credit. We've lost to alot of bad teams as well. Twice to the Knicks, one to the Kings, two to the Warriors, one at Charlotte early in the year when they sucked.

I ain't giving no credit for those luck ass shots! Hornets since all star break have been and deserve 2-3 more losses. All those wins were pre all star break. They have a load of double digit losses since all star break but a load of wins by 5 or less inside the last minute, 4-5 wins on final shot.

Plus we lost a fluke game at LAL. Obviously, we're not playing well right now and I'm not sure if we will the rest of the way. I'm hoping this team is like the 2000-2001 Hornets where they struggled down the stretch to finish 44-38 and get the 6th seed, but came out to sweep Mourning's Heat and take the Bucks to 7 games. We desperately need Tyson back.

Mavs are good in close games too, I suppose we should give credit to Kidd?

Winning close games has always been proven to be luck than skill.

The past 6 champions had a better expected W/L than their regular season record. (Spurs*3, Mavs, Celtics, Pistons).

    http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/stats/...lumn=all_total

Teams w/ record better than expected = lucky

teams w/ record worse than expected = unlucky

teams w/ record hovering around expected = average luck.

    SIMPLE STATISTICS people.

, we do not match up as badly against the Hornets as the recent evidence suggests. in the playoffs J-Blunt shot 29%, so it was as if we were playing wihtout one player. And in both games this year J-Blunt had limited impact either not playing and getting hurt in the 2nd game, both were back to backs and the opponent the night before was a playoff team.

Paul is a handful but the Hornets just aren't that ing good. Even when Paul played amazing they lost to a 7 man Warrior team, got skull ed by the Jazz, and needed luck shots to beat the Kings/Heat.

I've watched them since the All Star break and honestly the Mavs have played better than them since that time, even though the Mavs blow.
