what are you 13 years old? Rockets dont even know what the 2nd round looks like & ur heere talking crap to Laker & Spurs fans?
oh & make sure Ron Artest takes his ADD pills before the playoffs start.
Battier best defender in the league? ahh no. He is good defender and hits the corner 3's well I would take him on my team definitely ...but dont exaggerate he is only slightly better than Ariza ...he makes more money and was drafted much higher so by those terms Ariza is a gem because we got him for our bench scraps ...
what are you talking about? brian cook was the next tim duncan& Maurice evans was the next michael jordan

^^^ And.... Rudy Gay.![]()
What kind of re would rather have Battier over Gay?
Not sure even a re would be that stupid.
anyone who thinks ariza is better than battier is an idiot.
thats one of the smartest posts ive seen on this board![]()
not so much
yes and at one time Farmar was the next Tony Parker amd Walton the 2nd coming of his dad ...ahhh well ...
will it was smarter than any of your quotes you dumbass mother er
Battier is better and should be 4 years at Duke ...MCdonald's all-american national championship, a top 10 draft pick makes a starter's salary ...
Ariza 2nd round pick, traded twice makes far less money, yet his stats are close to battiers ...now granted Battier does thngs well that dont show up in the stat book like taking charges ...
I agree he is BETTER but not by much ...
Well, battier is much bettier.
giving up cook and evans who were not in the rotation, for a lil known athletic youngster wasnt much of a risk. it was low risk high reward type of deal. now ariza isnt a "gem" in the sense that hes going to be a star. but for what they gave up and what he means to the team, he is definitely a gem. im willing to bet 90% of the GM's in the league would trade their 1st wingman off the bench for ariza.
Brown can't shoot from the outside and has no idea how to play PG in the NBA.
Dude used to be like a deer in the headlights for the Cavs.
I'd take Ariza over Battier at this point in their careers. Ariza's man defense isn't as good, but it's close and he's much better at creating turnovers. Main thing is, Ariza's like 8 years younger and has the ability to score off the dribble and finish at the rim.
Is Brown the one where the Laker bench went crazy after he blocked a shot?
Yah, I think that's the guy. Crazy ass hops for a point guard.
Well, leaping ability has never been a problem for Shannon. Problem with the Cavaliers was that he was slow to catch on mentally and he was a tweener- not a good enough shooter to play SG, not a good enough passer to play PG. He couldn't break into Cleveland's guard rotation, which was godawful at the time.
But if he's advanced to the point where he can contribute for a championship-caliber team, God bless him. I was hoping he'd be another Caron Butler when the Cavaliers drafted him.
I'd take Ariza over Battier. Dude's only 23.
man..everytime i watch that, i underestimate how the block looks...its like i get surprised each time
