Don't worry Manny. They ARE.
No, they need to raise that tax.
But yes, Mark McGuire is an ass.
Don't worry Manny. They ARE.
you do realize that the tax is putting business out of business right???they need to raise that tax.
Man of the people no doubt.
Come out this summer when I have to pay 3 dollars a gallon.
But, once again your a great business man.
Curt Schilling probably did more steroids that the rest of the panel combined. Pitchers were a huge segment of the steroid population in baseball. It's a widely known fact that if you juice up the day you are to pitch, the next morning you have far less pain in your arm and a lot less swelling.
Schilling, especially on those days that he was expected to pitch on three days rest in the playoffs, juiced up like a mofo. You can even see it in his facial structure. The easiest way to tell if someone is on steroids is to look at their neck and see if it is abnormally thick. Schilling's neck is like two feet wide.
Also look at his stats. The most strikeouts he had before 1997 was 187. Then in 1997 at the age of 30, he strikes out 319 batters. Unless you believe in the magic pitching fairy, there's another reason why he went from injured pitcher with a lot of potential to superstar after the age of 30.
Would you like to explain your side?
No becuase whenever I do, i get laughed at, corrected, get told "are you an idiot?"
No, Ill just say I disagree, end of statement.
Am I right? Isn't that what always happens??
One side I would disagree with, is Schilling has been a huge opponent of Steroids for a long time.
TPark, that's because you never express your thoughts in something more than 3 sentences. And that's not making fun you, that's the truth.
Take time to write something that explains what you think and why.
Oh, and I'm going to let the gas tax stuff go in this thread, but if you want to start a thread in the poltics forum, it's on.
No problem, you feel your way, I feel mine.
I own a business that needs to use gasoline and diesel, and the taxes kill me everytime.
If you put yourself in my shoes youd understand.
Schilling?? I just honestly dont know, I mean, I dont think so, hes been such a huge opponent of steroids, the whole article in 02 in SI about steroids and how he was describing about guys, saying how bad it was blah blah blah.
Other than a sell out POS like Canseco, I dont know of anyone that would admit to other people doing, that was ON steroids.
I dont believe Schilling or Palmerio were.
I think Ivan Rodriguez was, I think Sosa was, I think McGwire was, I think Barry Bonds is as well.
I think you could look at some relievers today and yesterday and point out how they used it.
All in all its sickening, and I hope the focus returns on THE GAME and not steroids.
I guess Im ignorant and want to put my head in the sand, I just cant wait for baseball, its something me and my grandfather and father have shared and its a special game to me.
flame on.
