half day!! working for the state rocks!!! i had last tues off for texas independance day!!!

I was going to post that my husband works for the state and gets the strangest days off. He gets Texas Confederate Heroes Day off, which I'd never heard of until he started working for the state. And it happens to correspond with MLK Day. How messed up is that?

i had that one too!!! yeah it's ridiculous but im not complaining. we also got caesar chavez day, juneteenth.....just to name a few
