The funny thing is that insulting the Riverwalk and the Alamo doesn't really register for most of us from SA. It's like talking about the Empire State Building to someone from NYC or the Space Needle to someone from Seattle. Of course the only thing that takes even less imagination is going Klan before the end of the first paragraph.
I'm not going to talk about what I have no idea about (Mexicans in SA), but in Phoenix there are areas that are completely white where all the residents hate Hispanics. This guy comes from one of those areas.
Ah, he's what we down here call a "Northsider." Thanks.
Dis guy?

So how about us non-hispanic San Antonio de Bexar natives?
That guy reminds me a lot of myself. He hates Mexican's too? Yup.
dusty garza?
I'm just impressed that the author of this intriguing piece understands the difference between your and you're. Good job!
On the other hand, I don't like all the racial epithets. ######, s, s? Come on, dude. Give me Jazzbo, , and border hopper anyday. Truly uninspired.
What?
Not trying to get too serious here but WTF? That has to be the dumbest posted in this thread.
I went to high school in Phoenix and we had a low number of Mexicans and only three blacks in a school over 2,000.
However, the Mexican population in San Antonio overall is much higher than that in Phoenix.
(Though I don't know if this email is from Phoenix.)
Can you please stop posting pictures of the biggest to ever attend a Suns game?
Wouldn't that be Hispanic and not just Mexican.
Either way. Phoenix is only about 30% Hispanic.
This guy's problem has very little to do with BB or the Spurs.

I have no idea how old you are but I know that in the late 80's and early 90's several pure hispanic schools got shut down and since then almost all public schools in the city are at least 30-40%.
I just graduated last year and the majority of my school was Hispanic.
Meanwhile, as of 2002 San Antonio as a whole was 58.7 percent Hispanic, compared to an average of 30 percent for other cities in Texas. Most of that Latino population is located on the west side of San Antonio, which is nearly 100 percent Spanish speaking
Wow...that's rather hate filled. Someone is a little pissed![]()
Jesus, how did this go from flaming the asshole who wrote that email to a discussion on demographics?
Yeah, San Antonio is about 60% Hispanic and Phoenix is about 35% Hispanic. So that's why I was disputing Buddy Holly claiming that Phoenix had more " s."
I meant metro wide. Phoenix at almost 5 million people has more Mexican residents than SA.
But it was more a of joke than a serious comment.
went from asshole, to racism, to Phoenix..lol..that simple.![]()
