sons it ALL boils down to the fact that Nash is WHITE and he sells a LOAD of tickets and jerseys / merchandise for the Suns. period. Even if his performance on the court is declining every year and his defense is a joke, he is still VERY profitable for the Suns from a business point of view.

It seems like Nash wants Tyson Chandler on his team. However, he better learn to love Peja too.

I actually would like Nash to be traded or sign with a team that respects him. The majority of phoenix fans don't know his true worth and now they are just treating him bad. put nash in a decent team and that team will become a very good team.

The two most important positions (with regard to defense) on the basketball court are point guard and center.

Nash is a liability defensively. Always has been, always will be. Its the reason why every team that he has been on has gone out early in the playoffs as soon as they run up against a team with a decent offensive point guard.

The only way a team with Nash could win in the playoffs is if he's on a team that is so strong defensively at other positions, that it covers for his defensive weakness. And the downside to that is that a team that is usually that defensively strong will then tend to not be great offensive teams (like the various Spurs teams in recent editions). Wish almost negates having Nash on your team in the first place, if the team can't put up strong offensive numbers.

He doesn't torch them nearly as bad as he torches Nash. You're a basketball moron if you think their defensive issues have nothing to do with Nash. Barbosa is almost as bad a defender as Nash so the Barbosa part makes no sense.
Nash is a poor defender, I'll admit that. However replacing him for defensive purposes is not going to fix all their problems if big men don't rotate.
