    I don't "hate" the Lakers. I actually (covering head now) like the Lakers when they are not playing the Spurs. How can one not respect the battles between these two teams in the Duncan/Kobe era? Granted, the Lakers have more ownage on the Spurs on a series by series basis. But I look forward to a possible Lakers/Spurs matchup every year in the playoffs. I was sure it was going to be Spurs/Lakers part 7 in the Conference finals this year before Ginobili went down. Now I'm hoping but not expecting it.

    EDIT: How can anyone call the Suns a rival? The only time the Suns have downed the Spurs in the playoffs post-Jordan was in 2000 when Duncan was out. San Antonio OWNS Phoenix, pure and simple.

    Lakers, no one else even comes close.

    And I'm sorry but anyone that thinks Mav, Sun, Jazz or even Rocket Fan can hold a candle to bandwagon LakerFan as far as sheer obnoxiousness, well you just haven't been a Spur fan long enough.

    They're tame now and their numbers are small from a 5 year le drought....hopefully it'll stay that way.

    There is no bigger head, ass, punk, bag in all of Pro Sports fandom than bandwagon Lakerfan....and what really proves what punks they are is that soon as the Lakers lose or aren't winning as much, they disappear as quickly as they arrived.

    I disagree. Maybe in basketball but overall in the 3 major sports, no one and I mean NO ONE is worse than YankeeFan.

    At least Yankee Fan has a reason to talk as they far and away the best baseball team in history.

    The Lakers are not....the Celtics are. Yet the Lakers talk more than any other two teams fans combined.


    I remember being told Celtic Fan was the biggest in pro-Sports and that I would see it as soon as the Celtics won a le...

    That simply hasn't been the case. Sure there are few more Celtic doucebags than there were before, but it's not an infestation like it becomes when the Lakers win.

    When the Lakers win you will not find a Spurs board or basketball board that isn't infested with incredibly stupid bag Laker Fans that know nothing about the game.

    In the past 30 years of NBA basketball no one is close to the Lakers.

    The Celtics have to reach back to the 60s to become more relevant.

    Meh I don't feel like arguing over who's fans are bigger bags with a fellow Spurs fan. I'll just agree to disagree and say while you make good points I still have to vote for YankeeFan. LakerFan definitely rates a very close second based on my personal experience. I know no Yankee fans who are not complete and total -gobblers. I know a few Laker fans who aren't.

    Seriously, how many finals have the Celtics beaten the Lakers in? Like 9 or 10 or something like that?


    No team is the greatest anything when you have lost 10 ing times to another team in Finals.


    In fact you should you kill yourself if that has happened to your team, because what that makes that team is the biggest in all of pro-sports history. Even if you win the next 20 les you will still have a status to another team unmatched in any other pro-sport.

    I'll admit it's a compe ive race...

    CowboyFan is in that race too...and I'm a Cowboy fan. But they have some of the worst bag bandwagon fans as well.


    As far as non-marquee franchises...RocketFan does rank among the top bags in all of pro-sports.


    As far as fans of teams that haven't won , Mav and Sun Fan are both top 5 bags.


    I will say that LakerFan does at least have more reason to talk than Mav or Sun Fan, but like I said earlier, LakerFans infest when their team wins...all having the audacity to proclaim thier franchise as the greatest, when they don't have as many les as the Celtics, and when they are indeed the Celtics like no other team is anothers .

    I seem to recall the Spurs dismantling the Lakers twice in that history but the Lakers trashing the Spurs much more. Still, I get excited when they are going to play each other.

    Doesn't matter...ending the Shaq Kobe Dynasty is equivalent to like 5 playoff series wins and is a permanent exemption from status.

    Had you guys been the one to stop the 60'd Celtics Dynasty you might have some claim to the le of greatest ever...but you didn't. In fact you guys made that Dynasty.

    Futhermore, SpurFans don't claim they have the greatest team in the history of Sports or a Sport as LakerFan attempts to do.



    and 8-3 isn't as bad as the Spurs record against the Rockets in the playoffs...

    Or the Celtics for that matter


    We have never beaten the Rockets or Celtics in the playoffs...so you rank below them.
