    caught a break, nothing broken.

Now, the next thing is to pray the MRI comes up negative too.

But, if its a sprain, it, sit him till the last 2 games of the year.

The team can win regular season games with the group they have, and against the compe ion coming up.

    Be strong TImmy.

Go win one for em Spurs

this could be a big blessing
duncan will be rested going into playoffs
nazr will get plenty of time to learn spurs system now
the only bad thing is homecourt advantage might not be the spurs now

Remember the suns game, Rasho sprained his ankle and they had to take his ass out in a wheelchair, so maybe thats a good sign.

Grade 2 sprain (on a 3 scale), out at least the next two games, maybe more. They are calling it a re-injury.

IMO, it is a slight blessing for Nazr Mohammed.

Nazr looked good in his time in there 4 and 4, Rasho doesn't look too bad, his defense is weak on Wallace.

    Horry was mediocre, Mass, INC.

Beno is bringing thats for sure.

Duncan being hurt is no blessing in any way. This sprain s this team because it's likely to get reinjured again.

Unfortunately, Rasho was pushing Rasheed in the back getting into rebound position and Rasheed went forward and underneath Tim on Tim's layin attempt. It was just one of those things that happens with big feet in the lane. If Rasho doesn't push Rasheed to get separation Tim isn't hurt but you cannot blame Rasho, nor Rasheed.

The Spurs are going to have to really "compete" full-out to win.

Spurs' Duncan out with ankle injury
    March 20, 2005

AUBURN HILLS, Mich. (AP) -- San Antonio star Tim Duncan crumpled to the floor with a sprained right ankle in the opening minutes of Sunday's game against the Detroit Pistons.

The Spurs said X-rays were negative and Duncan is day to day.

Duncan's ankle turned in gruesome fashion after he scored and landed on Rasheed Wallace's foot under the basket. He immediately grabbed his right foot as he fell to the floor, where he stayed for a few minutes before being helped off without putting weight on his right foot. Duncan missed two games earlier this month with a sprained right ankle.

After X-rays were taken, he was pushed in a wheelchair to San Antonio's locker room. The two-time MVP and NBA Finals MVP began the game averaging 21.2 points, 11.5 rebounds and 2.7 blocks this season.
