steve nash shoots from the side of his head/shoulder. no thanks
So did Stockton. Manu too. My favorite shot of all time. Pull the hammer over the shoulder and let her rip. I'm down.

Kobe. I love his shot. the way he elevates and then releases right as he's starting to come down...he gets so high up that he's just on another level than the defender....and then that little lag makes it even tougher to time, so the defender jumps too soon...and then he just has such a cool release wit the flick of the wrist. deadly. like a goddamn mamba striking.

Gonna go with Redd, his release makes it look like he is just dropping it into the basket. Its very unique.

Kobe Bryant, hands down. And a very personal pick: Mike Bibby, I don't know why I always liked his shot.

Jump shooting is the aspect of the game that I enjoy the most.

    Dirk.

But Fin actually has one of the nicest looking jumpers in the league and im always surprised when he misses it...i dont know cuz he misses so damn much but still a really pretty jumpshot.

As a lefty, i actually like Fish's shot a lot too.

    Anybody but Marion!

BTW... Best "shot" (though not a jumpshot) of all time -------> Kareem.

I don't know if I'm splitting hairs here but a fadeaway J....Kobe's look best hands down.

But a straight jump shot, it's gotta be Ray Allen.

(All time prettiest form has gotta be Byron Scott, though)

lol son peja has the prettiest jumpshot in the game IMHO, and that's why the hornets will pay him 29m in the next 2 years.

    Former player - Reggie Miller
Current player - Ray Allen or Steve Nash, they both work for me. But Redd should get a mention, his shots makes it look easy. And to think if he would stay healthy, he would be one of the most dangerous NBA players in the league right now.

I'm going to have to disagree on that one. When Miller shot, it looked like his arms were trying to have an abortion. The ball went in but it was pretty damn ugly.

Yea i dont think Nash has a great shot mechanics wise, its a low release point, and easy to get blocked. And he doesnt have a shot where he can release it from bad angles. Its either straight on or nothing.

I think Kobe has the prettiest jumper. Best best technique is probably Ray Allen/

I'd say ray, when he gets an open look about the only thing to guess is whether it grazes the inside of the rim or is a swish.

Nash shoots well, but is always doing akward stuff making his jumpshot ugly, but not near as ugly as Marion's....

BTW, am I the only one that notices nash missing shots he'd normally hit this season?

I've always felt that Steve Nash is the best shooter I've ever seen. There isn't a single jumpshot the guy can't hit (off balance, runners, fading, pull-up, short, long, etc...), he releases it really fast, and the stats back it all up.

But I really like Vladmir Radmanovic's shot. His shot is soooooooooo high-arching, its a thing of beauty when it splashes through the net.
