"Loans" from the government to a private enterprise. Yep, that's good ol' fashioned pull-yerself-up-by-yer-bootstraps American free enterprise. Just like expanding Medicare was letting da free market work.

It's not. I was opposed to that bailout as well but, in fairness, that was a bipartisan decision and it didn't come with strings that put the government in a position to nationalize the corporations.

Why won't Obama take payments from the banks? There are more than a few who want to pay back the bailout money.

The most sacred trust a commander in chief has is to lead troops in a competant manner.

Anyone who defended Bush and his policy in Iraq in that time, placed party over country in an shameful display of treason, and I cannot forgive that.

Unecessary wars are yesterday's news.. 4,000 dead GIs, hundred thousand thousand or so dead civilians... We need to forget that and concentrate on how we can attack the current president over his gifts, use of a teleprompter, and handshakes. Can't we just move beyod that whole Iraq thing and concentrate on the imprtant stuff?
