    re sign Rasho
    re sign Nazr
    re sign Glen and T-mass

I had a dream that Ginobili's hair was long again. 2005 all over again.
We could sign Steven Jackson, Speedy Claxton, Malik Rose, and bring David Robinson back from retirement to try to re-live 2003!

No thank you! Never again. I was jumping with joy when he left because he was one of my least fav spurs. So not changing my mind now, though I must admit, sadly he might be a bit of an upgrade over our sad sad crew right now.

Rasho Nesterovič said that he'll wait till 1.7. if there will be any interesting offers from NBA, if not he will sign in Europe.

He said he is very excited to return to Europe. He was watching the Euroleague Final4 and after seeing the atmosphere in Berlin, the fans, he got really excited to be part of this once again.

Considering he also holds Greek passport... Olympiakos or Panathinaikos are the most logical picks.

Lakersom st e v zmagi sezone dali 16 točk in zbrali 10 skokov.

Ste razmišljali o odkupu pogodbe in odhodu v kakšen drug klub?
Tudi o tem sem razmišljal. Bile so različne možnosti.

Vse možnosti so odprte.

So ape i le malce preveliki?
Prvo so ape i, drugo realnost. To so svetovni prvaki in nosilci srebrne olimpijske medalje. Pomlajena Srbija bo izjemno motivirana.

Kaj so razlogi za krizo Uniona Olimpije?

Well it depends on Kostas Koufos. I think that both Olympiakos and Panathinaikos will try their chances on Kostas Koufos. If Rasho holds a Greek passport , Olympiakos will think about it ,while there are rumors(NBA teams) for 3 players (Big Sofo, Printezis, Bourousis), 2 C's and a Pf.

My biggest concern with Rasho is that in his last playoff series with the Spurs Pop couldn't/wouldn't even bring him off the bench.

We already have a bunch of playoff non-contributors.

Yes it is rumored Sofo, Printezis, Bourousis will all go to NBA. And yes Rasho has Greek passport for many years now since he was in PAOK I think. But Koufos is under contract with Jazz so how can Olympiacos get him?

Josh Childress was under contract too. Or am i wrong? I think Jazz will keep his rights. Is it the same case with Gist? Don't know much about it , but how Childress plays for Olympiakos and Hawks still have his rights? I am not an expert but if they could get Childress they will find a way. I don't know what jazz think about Koufos.

I do not know the details of Greek law and I am sure someone here can correct me.

IIRC, Rasho never did anything to maintain his Greek citizenship. For example, Peja fulfilled a military commitment which I recall was part of his Greek citizenship. So after all these years, I am not sure if Rasho even still holds a Greek passport? Or if he went to play in Greece if they would then enforce upon him this obligatory military service.

In general, not the direction the Spurs should be headed. If they needed a reserve big and he was willing to sign a small contract, I could see it.

I know all about how Rasho obtained his Greek citizenship. I recall Jake Tsakalidas having an issue with his expected military service, and I know for a fact that Peja served his.

I think you are confused. You do not have to serve in Greek military to get a passport.

Yes, i recall him having to skip playing for national team when we played in Greece once because of the military issue. However he no longer has this issue (perhaps the laws have changed or he dumped the passport) - remember he played in olympic qualifying in Athens. I don't know if he still has a greek passport, but he does have a Slovenian passport, which is a EU passport, so he wouldn't be considered a foreigner anyway.

If he only had Slovenia passport he would be consider a foreign player under Greek League rules. You can only have 6 players from outside Greece on your roster in Greek League. So having the Greek passport is major issue.

I stand corrected, apparently Greeks don't really believe in EU.

Anyway Rasho is better than any C on any greek team so it's a non issue.
