    I'll justify it. Dont just look at the elbow and knee. Look at the overall picture. Kobe is on top of Shane. Kobe needs to use his knee to stand up. He did, but it hits Shane in the face by accident. Then you see Kobe try to stand up using that same knee. Shane then starts to rise up with Kobe still on him. Kobe falls forward and his elbow lands on Shanes head. Look at the whole altercation. Its obvious there was a loss of balance in Kobe's part when Shane pushed off the ground.

    I have no interest in either team but to justify Kobe in this case is simply pathetic.

    Ever watch a normal game when opposing players get tangled up on the ground? They get up slow and slowly untangle themselves while teammates help out.

    Kobe knew full well what he was doing. Battier/Artest were guarding Kobe all night and it was his way to get a cheap shot in.

    These are world class athletes and these guys know exactly what they're doing. They just don't haphazardly throw limbs around.

    Watch the replay in normal speed when its not focused on just the elbow and knee. Kobe was trying to just get up and Shane tried to get up too.
