Last time I checked Manu's numbers (when playing) were more than the C and minus scored he's been given already...![]()
Bonner: C. Overachieved in the regular season. Had 4 points in 5 playoff games. Atrocious.
Bowen: B Not given the chance
Duncan: A Great year for Timmy. Too bad the knees flared up. Really helped keep us afloat for the first 60 games.
Finley: C+ Didn't do anything to warrant another year in silver and black. Hit a few big shots though.
Ginobili: F. Chose not to rehab a sore ankle and was MIA when it counted because of it.
Gooden: B* (limited time) I think he deserves a shot next year.
Hill: C+ Pop forgot he was on our roster until it was too late.
Mason: B Pop failed to find a true role for him.
Oberto: N/A Didn't know we was on our team this year. Hope the dude's heart is ok.
Parker: A+ Hats off to Parker this year. His performance against Dallas in game 4 was inspiring. Without Tony Parker, we're a lottery team this year.
Pop: D I'm really disappointed in Pop this year. I'm not playing the Fire Pop card but his inability to settle on a rotation, his blatant refusal to play George Hill and his being the only basketball mind on the planet to see worth in Matt Bonner confuse the out of me. But what do I know right?
Thomas: B Came on strong down the stretch.
Udoka: D Not sure why we made a uniform for this guy. Offensively, makes Bruce Bowen look like MJ. Pop ruined his confidance.
Vaughn: N/A Who?
Bonner: C; He did what Pop wanted him to do, but disappeared in the playoffs, partly due to Pop suddenly not wanting to play him.
Bowen: C; It's hard to really grade him as he didn't play a lot, but his defense didn't seem as good from what I saw and his offense was its usual self, so a C works.
Duncan: A; Fine year for him.
Finley: C; Was average and hit some big shots down the stretch, but he was nothing special.
Ginobili: A; When he was injured, the Spurs were 23-20 (Including the playoffs). When he was playing, the Spurs were 32-12. 'Nuff said.
Gooden: C; It was hard to gauge how well he played, though, in his limited time and minutes.
Hill: B; Played well for a rookie and should have been running the backup point as opposed to Roger Mason.
Mason: C; Was a spark early on, but faded down the stretch, especially in the playoffs.
Oberto: How can you grade him considering his limited minutes? When he played towards the end of blowouts when Pop cleared the bench, he played pretty well, though.
Parker: A; Another great year.
Popovich: C; I thought he made some really questionable calls down the stretch, but I'll give him the benefit of the doubt considering he's won four NBA les and I haven't coached a basketball game in my life!
Thomas: C; Did what he was asked to do, but I still don't know why we wasted a first-round draft pick in this year's draft for this aging veteran.
Udoka: D; I'm not sure why Pop decided to start playing him towards the end of the year out of the blue...
Vaughn: Kind of hard to grade him considering he barely ever played, LOL!
+1 Except change Hill to a C because the guys showed he is not a PG...Yes, he can guard PG but he can't play a PG..
