People don't hate LA..they hate Laker fans..and not all of them..some of them are cool (Allanon). But bag fans like DrHouse that are proud of elbows and flagrants, and think the LOB should be handed to the Lakers on a silver platter every year, and think they're always the best team in the league, just because they're the highest paid, even though they haven't won a le in 7 years. The bandwagon fans, who only cheer for the Lake Show because it's the "hip" thing to do...and the people who act like they've been fans for years, when really they only actually cheer for the Lakers when they're winning...

Minneapolis owns some of them from the George Mikan era. However, the team that gave your girlieboyz a good old fashion ass kicking in last season's finals, the Boston Celtics have more les and it was all done in the same city. Probably the main reason nobody on the planet likes LaLa Land'ers is because you ladies are arrogant, silicone filled butthead's.

I have never been to LA, so I cannot say whether I hate it or not.
Like any other place, I am sure there are areas of LA I would hate, and areas I would love.
As far as the Lakers go, I am a Spurs fan, they have been a Conference rival since about 1980 or so. In fact, the Lakers have been our biggest nemesis since we joined the Western Conference. While I have respect for their history, I do hate the franchise. The fans have a lot to do with that hate. The arrogance and sense of en lement that the fans display is revolting. You do realize that the Celtics are the winningest team in NBA History, right?
Not all Lakers fans are assholes, but the majority seem to be. Usually the cool Lakers fans are the ones who were around during the pre-Magic years or at least during the early 80s.
While it is true the Spurs only have 4 Championships, that is good enough for 4th on the all-time list, behind only Boston, LA, and Chicago (all large market teams). We are the only ABA team to have won a NBA le. We have the 2nd best winning percentage in league history, behind only the Lakers. Not bad for a small market team, with a limited budget, and low sex appeal.
