Excellent post. Big Baby was the best player left at the end of the first round on many draft boards. Unfortunately, he wasn't on the Spurs. So don't give me that crap that a lot of other teams didn't pick him as well. He was a known commodity and the Celtics made a great pick. The Spurs went with a guy with one year of college experience and he was cut. My point is that he was definitely worth taking at that point in the draft instead of an untested college freshman who probably will never make it.For the record, I remember several Spurs fans on this board hoping they would pick Big Baby, both before the draft and when they could have picked him in the second round. Props to those people, at least so far in his career. I was not one of those people; I thought his size and mobility issues would be a major negative at this level. He has proven me wrong so far.
