The Mens Wharehouse.
I have about 8 or 9 suits.
All from there, they are THE best, I highly reccommend them.
Bump. I'm going shopping tonight. Any advice?
This is like 7 months after I first intended to.
Foleys has sales every now and then that actually feature great suits.
The Shops at La Cantera.
You'll find a very nice one and you'll be broke....I guarantee it.
Im telling ya Mannym, Barry Manufacturing (yes they sell suits) you can get a good suit, tailor made for a really good price.
K&G
Men's Warehouse
& Too Good To Be Threw
but no matter where we buy a suit I ALWAYS take it too Men's warehouse for the tailoring.... of course the tailoring is free if you buy your suit there...
God i LOVE men's warehouse.
I'm going to hit up Second Looks, K&G, and Mens Warehouse. I hope I come across something good.
I'm po', so I hope I find something good cheap.![]()

Listen to the Taco. He knows.![]()
Be smart and shop locally if possible.
I'd burn $10 in gas just getting to Wurzbach and Bandera.
Yeah, thats too damn far. And you're nuts if you think I'm putting with Bandera traffic right now.
What do you need a suit for? Getting married or getting buried?![]()
Same difference.![]()
Just for looking good.
, I'm not droping weight just to walk around in jeans and a tshirt.![]()
I'll tell you this, jeans and shirts feel great when you're not trying to hide a gut.
I found a great suit at Burlington not too long ago. It's like Solo Serve, but better.

in the words of ZZtop:
"every girl's crazy 'bout a sharp dressed man"
I've driven by there 100 times.. and i always wondered if it was worht the stop..... do they tailor there?? whats the usual cost??
Penners has a lot of odd-sizes if you need them. Big & tall and short & fat.![]()
men's wearhouse does not do free tailoring even if you buy from them... at least they didn't a couple weeks ago when i bought a suit
well the one in corpus always does his jacket (they have to bring it in around the middle) and his pants for free. (the waist that comes with a 44S is like 36 & emo is a 31) We are regular customers but i diidn;t think we were getting any kind of special treatment. I think everyplace finishes the hem for free right?
we do have to pay for extras like shortening the sleeves or lettign out the thigh...
i had to pay 10 bux for both slacks i bought there... jackets didn't need anything special otherwise i would have been charged.. dude said they charge for everything instead of raising the prices of suits like at other places and then saying it is free.. supposedly the rest of alterations will be done for free for the life of the garment though.
thats true. We bought some thick khaki pants like 3 years ago there and had them hemmed and 1 pleat tightened up (thats was like $13 per pair right of the bat...but I've still nto been charged for suit pants).
anyway.. emo gained some weight .. so we brought them in and they let them out for free... then he lost weight.. so they took them back in for free.
I went to Second Looks and K&G tonight. The selection at K&G was pretty damn awesome, and I found several suits I liked. They also had some pretty awesome shirts.
The staff at Secod Looks was really helpful, but they really didn't have anything there I liked.
I'm going to wait about a week but I'm pretty sure I'll be going back to K&G to make a suit purchase. They had a great selection for my size - 43/44 regular - and they were priced very well.
