I beg to differ, the Grizz are much better set for the future if they keep their bigs!

Oklahoma City. I think if you look at the rosters, Durant is probably the best player. Portland has had to deal with injuries to both Roy and Oden. Miller is getting up there in age, and I like the games and the fact that the Thunder are younger. Westbrook looks like the most underrated point guard in the league today, let alone guard at his age. I think if they can get a dominant force up-front and keep this team together, they will be in the playoff hunt for the next decade. Harden is one of the steals of the draft. Green is often overlooked as a nice complimentary piece.

Agreed. They needed Camby, but Outlaw was one of my favorite young players on Portland, particularly because he got buckets in the 4th quarter.

The Thunder won't be that good for much longer. Durant is going to bolt.

Oklahoma City Thunder by far. They have Kevin Durant who is going to be tugging on Lebron's cape as the best player in the NBA in a few years coupled with a rising superstar in Russell Westbrook. The fact that they have not reached their prime yet but still playing really well means they can only get better. Their core players of Durant, Westbrook, Harden, and Green are signed to at least 2012.

The Portland Trailblazers however are very unstable, especially at the point guard position. The only superstar they have is Brandon Roy. Even if they have their injured players back they won't be at the same level as the Oklahoma City Thunder. I predict the Portland Trailblazers to reach the peak of the spotlight next year and then its going to go down hill from there. (Yes I know they're young)

In what, four years? They own his restricted rights, and very few turn down tens of millions of dollars for multi-year extension for the qualifying offer to become an unrestricted free agent. Now I agree that Durant is likely to leave at some point (though if Duncan stayed in San Antonio, then I suppose Durant can stay in OKC), but I don't think it's imminent. I figure he plays out his rookie contract and signs a similar MAX deal to what LeBron and Wade signed after their rookie-scale contract was up. So, basically I think Durant stays in OKC for another four seasons minimum.
