How much of the game do you think will be left at around 9:30pm central time? I'm just curious cause that's the time I get off from work.
You're severely underrating the Cavs defense. I thought it was a fluke they didn't match the 2001 Lakers playoff record.
The game should be over, barring OT.
If you get home or to a bar right after you get off from work there should be 8 minutes or so left in the 4th I believe, but it depends on delays in the game, etc.
You're probably right, the game started at 8:30 Thursday, not 8PM.
It starts at 5, I think. A normal time for a game is about 2 hours 20 minutes.
Yeah, 8PM over here bud. The average block of time alloted for those games is 2 1/2 hours so, as you mentioned, barring another thrilling overtime session the game (hopefully not the series) should be decided at 9:30 Central.
If the Lakers win, will I have time to lock up my cars, and board up my windows?

If they win, I'd restrain myself and kiss my wife...take her to bed..and once she falls asleep..I'd strip naked and run around the neighborhood yelling "Lakers won!"
Funny, I was reading the post going "sure you will" and all of a sudden: WHAM, nudity. Caught me offguard with that one....hopefully for the sake of your neighbors the Magic prevail, LOL.
I'll probably celebrate my drinking a 40 or something. I'll make sure to catch all the post games, etc..
And I'd probably buy one just to poor out for the Magic....hopefully I'll be popping bubbly though.

He won't show up, he's not playing Big Z for 25 mins a game.
I expect LA to be focused and ready to wrap this series up. You dont give games away especially in the finals. You give a team any kind of life, it gets that much tougher to close the deal. Winning in front of the home crowd is great but not at the expense of giving a game away.
