Not if SVG sits Jameer from now on
When he wasn't playing, Magic were so much better than L.A
SVG has lost all credibility in my book, the Magic ABSOLUTELY should have won last night. I was also shocked that he stopped playing Rafer even though he was playing well. F SVG, and F the Magic for choking the game away.

VG has been horrible.
The Magic have all the tools to be a championship team - proven by them being at the cusp of victory in two losses despite VG, but Jameer Nelson returning was the worst thing that could have happened.
I would have only used Nelson as a spark if the team was dying. He actually played pretty well for a guy that has been gone for so long, but for VG to make him the guy after 3 months off says all you need to know to fire him.
I agree with others that Johnson had been playing really well leading up to the finals. Of course Alston was doing a really good job as well.
When your coach has too many mental errors, you know it's time to move on. I do give him credit for admitting those errors though.
This time I think the coach might have made the difference.

Okay, I think I understand everyone's outrage. It WAS NOT Van Gundy's mad scientist strategy nearly winning, it WAS the players nearly winning despite Van Gundy. I honestly cannot see how those players will play under him next season, not after the mess he's made. Orlando is backed into a corner now, might as well abandon the Nelson tactic. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over expecting a different result. Fire Stan "Super Mario" Van Gundy if he doesn't learn from his coaching mistakes!!!!
PS: The Wire is the best televison series of all-time, it will hold your attention for its 5 seasons and you'll learn lots of cool stuff. It reminds me a lot of the Spurs, a quiet winner.![]()
