You'll always find someone who hates what you like. I always hear nothing but complaints about Olive Garden yet the place is always packed.
I really like Red Robin Burgers and those endless fries.
I too love Red Robbin, just went to Chili's on Sunday we also enjoy Olive Garden. I just wanted to try something different since I was watching Diners, Drive INs and Dives on the Food Channel.
Also noticed that El Camino is now Chuy's off of the Forum.
We hit Mama's Cafe once a month with our buy one get one free coupon. Nothing wrong with some of the restaurant chain places.

If you're in the mood for barbecue I recommend Anderson's on Harry Hines.
Why don't you go to the Jonas Bros. concert with jack?
Oh , how did I forget about Mike Andersons? That place is ing good.

damn. how could i have forgotten. your post reminded me of the burgers at Hole in the Wall on hines. it really is a hole in the wall. it's a blues bar, but the burgers and fries are pretty damn good. i'd go here compared to Keller's which is just down the street.
you attract men rofl
It's way out in the boondocks but if you want the best barbecue in the Dallas "area" then go to Big Daddy's in Lavon.
We went to Twisted Root on saturday and yes, it was damn good. We went around 6:00pm and the line was pretty long....took us about 20 minutes to order but it was worth the wait. Deep Elum isnt that bad especially during the day. No worries here
Mike Andersons > Big Daddy's
no joke
man, i'm going to have to try mike anderson's. where on hines is it? more towards northwest hwy or lbj?
there is one bbq place in between garland and rowlett that's pretty damn good. i just don't know the name. it's a little shack and it's all carry out. i smelled the food from my car when i drove passed it. it's right before forest turns into 66 if you're going north on forest off of lbj. once the road forks you need to turn around and head back to see the place. just roll down your window and follow your nose.
I may check out Twisted Root.
there is also one in richardson off 75 and campbell
i havent ate there but i know what you are talking about. a friend of mine who lives in that area has told me about it.
go to Ft Worth instead.
The two restaurants that I remember where Papasitos and Texadelphia. Those were pretty good, although Papasitos was pretty high priced, but the food was damn good.
so what did you hit up, joe?
I heard of a place that sells really good burgers, that gives out free beer or something, since they don't have a liquor license. Don't know the name of it though. For some reason, I'm thinking it's the Angry Dog, but I can't be sure.
Can't beat free beer though.
it's not The Dog, but they do have really good burgers.
Fat Daddy's
Two free beers per person!
