AV is great as your 1st big off the bench.
if have no problem with him if Dallas can't get Bass back and they get him for cheap. he's a nice backup PF/C. good on boards, finishes fairly well, plays hard on defense. again, if they get him, it better be for pretty cheap

If Varejao didn't play with lebron we wouldn't even know his name. The fact people consider him a respectable role player just shows how incredible Lebron is.
All of this open shots he gets are shots created by Lebron, occassionally he'll hit that nasty looking baseline fadeaway he has but the other team is more than content with him taking that shot. Most of his offensive rebounds come because the guy guarding him helps off him when Lebron drives, his flop success rate is so high due to the refs treatment of Lebron's team, and the only reason he defends and rebounds so well is cause other players are worried he'll flop and the refs will call a foul.
Outside of Lebron and Delonte West (I hate the fire crotch got but he actually steps up for the playoffs and has some valuable tools), there's not a player on that team that should have a safe roster spot. The Shaq trade will help them but it doesn't fully address their most glaring weakness of defending athletic big men.
It's cute and all that the fans love Ilgauskas but he's so bad.
90 % of the offensive rebounds in the game come because some one rotates off to help. The only thing this statement proves is that you are a moron. There is nothing wrong with the fact that most of his shots are created by some one else. He would be making less then 4 mill a year with the deal. When you are paying some one that much you don’t expect them to be creating offense. Varejao is a good solid bench player, and you are a massive idiot.
