Yeah...all I have been reading all day long are not just bad reviews...some of them say it's worst movie they have ever seen.
I'm starting to wonder if I want to waste the money and time.

"We need to show them that we believe in our beliefs as much as they believe in their beliefs."wow
Im I the only one that liked The Happening? I thought that movie was pretty crazy.
People committing suicide in all these gruesome and sick ways like jumping into a lion's den or slitting wrists with a dull rock. I was pretty freaked.
The only good thing about The Happening was the guy running himself over with the lawnmower. The whole theater lol'd.
The Happening was just boring as . And being afraid of trees and the wind is just stupid. The scenes where they tried to run away from the wind was just as stupid as the scenes in Day After Tomorrow where they were running away from global warming.
Same here.
While watching The Happening, I kept thinking the film would have had genius so-bad-it's-good potential if only Shyamalan had embraced the camp factor. Maybe he finally did it this time. In any case, I had absolutely no intention/desire to see this one until the comically horrible reviews came out. Now my curiosity may just be enough to get me to the theater.
I watched it. I liked it, but the acting was kind of bad. It did follow the cartoon perfectly, so that was a plus. Overall, I thought it was good.
I don't think I've ever seen a movie with such bad reviews.
The acting was bad. BAD. The script was horrifying. But some of the visuals were excellent and the fight scenes were pretty entertaining. Definitely not the worst movie I've ever seen - that honor still belongs to The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl.
there were also many ty 4 line scenes that just make you think "wtf was that scene for?"
Too bad now you love Taylor Lautner. It was so bad you reward the ty actor with more of your money.
Nah - my kids paid the first time.
omg your kids have jobs!!!![]()
They understand that when you want something, it has to be paid for. They wanted to see it, they did odd jobs to earn ticket money.
odd jobs for your neighbors?
Mostly other family members. They were pretty young then.
When they want food, do you give them spears and drive them to a forest?
not talking about sharkboy and lavagirl
it followed the cartoon, but cut incredibly important out and marginalized other stuff...

io9 has been awesome.
this appears to be the yang to toy story's yin
Nah. The only one big and strong enough to heft a spear is still more likely to jab his brother than a deer
Oh, I see. No, they haven't seen any of those "non-vampire" movies. They do, however, get a real kick out of zombie flicks, especially the girl. No fear, that one.
That movie was so horrible that I cried at the end of it cause I just wasted 2 hrs of my life that I shouldve used to watch Eclipse.
The dialogue and character development was horrid in this movie. Something M. Night Shyamalan needs to address going further in his lackluster career. This movie should've been done better and it basically took the Avatar franchise and destroyed it. The visuals and choreography were good and with a little better guidance, could've been great. Shyamalan should've called it quits after Unbreakable...
