Barbosa is for the most part an enormous playoff choker. Then again, he is a playoff assassin against exactly one team: Los Angeles.
The basketball IQ of the team would drop into negative territory if that happened...

You wanna talk about Bball IQ, Amare's is so low he makes Danny Fortson look like Tim Duncan.
Stoudemire also has one of the biggest egos I've ever seen in any sport..this guy is pretty much a 100% talent..he has no basketball IQ whatsoever, ego, doesn't play defense at all, doesn't give effort a lot of the time..
I think the trade would be GREAT for Amare Stoudemire. Working under Pop and Duncan he would either shape up or be benched. So in a perfect world I would like to think the coaching staff would be able to turn him around and become the next great SA big man... That being said I wouldnt go through with this trade in a million years. Too many questions about stoudemire to risk it, even given Manus health.
Amare is fool's gold. He makes the highlight reels with his dunks, but is the most over-rated player in the nba in my opinion. If he couldn't win a championship with the collection of team-mates that he had when they were all in their primes, I don't see how he'll ever do it. He had a ton of talent around him. The real warning flag concerning Amare was the fact that Phoenix barely missed a beat the year he had to sit out, and finished with nearly the same record as the year before. Phoenix blew their best chance for a championship when they nixed the Amare for Garnett deal before he was traded to the Celtics.
I'm a huge Manu fan but now that the Spurs have Jefferson a Manu for Amare trade doesn't sound so ridiculous IMO.
Thanks,
I was having a ty day until I read your post. Now I can't stop laughing.![]()
But but but amare can duuuuunk.
no no no.....and wait, no!
I do like chandler, but you would be trading one previously injured player (Manu) to one that seems to be injured even more often. Plus, no no no no to Hill!!! He is our next great perimeter defender and we must nourish him into a Bowen that is more athletic and can shoot better....lol
LOL, I take it you meant this as The Joke of the Day...eh!
Waste of bandwidth. Who knows how long the cyclops can hold out.
we havent resigned gooden yet right?
