Some of Simmons' jokes are so subtle and under the radar that a lot of folks miss them. If you don't understand a sentence, just remember that it's there for a purpose or maybe you're not old enough to understand the reference.

Bill Simmons is greatness. I can't believe many of you don't like him.

Some of his Boston stuff gets old, but he knows he's a homer and doesn't try to hide it. I just ignore the Boston stuff.

I listen to his podcasts all the time and they are great.

Simmons calls OKC hijack city and the Thunder are the Zombie Sonics because he thought it was an absolute disgrace what the NBA and ownership did to the Seattle fanbase.

In fact, he's never called them the Thunder. It's Hijack City, Zombie Sonics, or the "Team That Shall Not Be Named".
